Experience some of the nation’s best visual art, along with the artists who produce it, at the annual 4 Bridges Arts Festival on April 19 & 20, 2008 in the First Tennessee Pavilion in Chattanooga, TN. This is a juried event featuring original art for every taste and budget by national, regional and local artists. Out of 690 applicants, a select 150 artists were chosen who represent the finest contemporary and traditional art in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, fiber, wood, metal and more.

Located in the unlikely setting of a refurbished manufacturing relic, the Festival has found its perfect home in the three-story open-air site now known as the First Tennessee Pavilion, which offers 50,000 square feet of interesting, accessible and weatherproof art exhibit space. Add to that an adjacent outdoor area staged with hands-on art activities for children, acoustic musical performances and a wide variety of food and drink vendors in the Garden Cafe, and you’ll understand why 4 Bridges Arts Festival has been noted as a Top 100 Fine Arts Show by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

4 Bridges Arts Festival is a free and family-friendly event which has grown in size and stature to now be one of the highest profile cultural events in Chattanooga.

In 2006, nearly $100,000 was invested through the Patron Program alone, not to mention dollars generated from an estimated 20,000 festival attendees. The Festival serves a significant role in supporting the artistic and cultural vitality of the community, representing an overall $1 million in economic impact over the course of the weekend.
